MOORE DIED ON FRIDAY Succumbed At Home On Cove St. At Early Hour Funeral Services Were Held Sunday Edwin E. Moore, prominent Crisfield resident, died at his home on Cove Street at an early hour last Friday morning, from a complication of diseases, following a lingering illness. He was sixty-three years of age. Although in poor health for some time, his death came as a shock to the entire community. Mr. Moore was born at Fairmount, Md., but moved to Crisfield when still a young man and spent practically his entire life in this community. He became associated with the well-known firm of L. E. P. Dennis and Son, who owned and operated large fertilizer plants at Crisfield and Cape Charles, and became superintendent of their plants. He was known to his business associates as one of the most capable men in the business. "Captain Eddie", as he was familiarly known by his host of friends and acquaintances, was a man of cheerful disposition and was foursquare in all his business dealings. He was a member of Immanuel M. E. Church, the Peninsula Council of Junior Order of United American Mechanics, and the Crisfield Lodge 1644 Benevolent and Protected Order of Elks. The deceased is survived by his wife, Mrs. Georgia Moore, and one daughter, Miss Rachel Moore. Funeral services were held from the home on Cove Street last Sunday afternoon, conducted by the Rev.
