Description	:	Edwin was the youngest son of William and Caroline (Eggerss) Preuss. He married the love of his life, Dorothy Seaman in 1942. They met at a roller skating rink when they were just teenagers and it was love at first sight. Edwin was stationed in San Francisco during the war and Dorothy visited him there for a time. They settled in Shelby, Iowa to be near Edwin's parents while he was in pharmacy school but Edwin was one of the victims of polio. When he recovered Edwin, decided to help his Dad, William manage... They settled in Shelby, Iowa to be near Edwin's parents while he was in pharmacy school but Edwin was one of the victims of polio. When he recovered Edwin, decided to help his Dad, William manage the Shelby Standard Gas Station. By now Dorothy and Edwin were the parents of two children; Darwin, born 1944 and Janice born, 1948. Later they were blessed with another daughter, Carolyn born 1958.
