Taken to Rochester Hospital Week Ago Where Death Comes--Age 20 Years While not wholly unexpected the news of the death of Edwin Holmberg came as a shock to a large circle of friends in Belt and vicinity. Death occurred at Rochester, Minn., where he went a week ago last Saturday, accompanied by his mother. The news was received here Saturday morning by wire. Edward Holmberg was 20 years of age, born in South Omaha, Neb. He came to Montana with his parents in 1904. For the past three or four years he had been a sufferer from acute rheumatism and although everything possible was done for relief, it was of little avail. About six weeks ago he had a severe stroke of paralysis, and while partially recovered from this, his condition was such that the trip to Rochester was undertaken in the hope that specialists could help him. The immediate cause of death was given as cardiac insufficiency. The remains were shipped from Rochester to Belt arriving here Monday evening. The funeral was held from the M. E. Church at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Rev. R. M. Craven conducting the services. The remains were interred in Pleasant View cemetery. Besides his parents, one sister, Miss Agnes, survives to mourn his loss. The death of an only son is a severe blow to the family and they have the sincere sympathy of the whole community. Up to the time of his failure of health, he was of robust physique, full of energy and spirits, giving rich promise for a life of usefulness and later his sufferings were borne with patience and fortitude. It was a sad ending to a most promising future.
