Description	:	Effie Cornish Farver was born September 4, 1885, to L.R. and Elisabeth Cornish on a farm south of Fairfield, Nebraska. She departed this life September 14, 1964, at the Brodstone Memorial Hospital at the age of 79 years and 10 days. When a girl she moved into Fairfield where she spent her childhood. Read More	Effie Cornish Farver was born September 4, 1885, to L.R. and Elisabeth Cornish on a farm south of Fairfield, Nebraska. She departed this life September 14, 1964, at the Brodstone Memorial Hospital at the age of 79 years and 10 days. When a girl she moved into Fairfield where she spent her childhood. As a young girl she was baptized in the First Christian Church of Fairfield and was active through her girlhood. Later she graduated from Nebraska State Normal School at Kearney and began teaching at an elementary school near Harvard, Nebraska. On June 5, 1909, she was married to Allen M. Farver. To this union six children were born. All of her 55 years of married life was spent in Nuckolls County with the exception of a few years she lived in Wisconsin. Mrs. Farver was preceded in death by her mother and father, six brothers and sisters, and two infant sons, Milan Milford and Merlin LeRoy. Left to mourn her passing are her husband a daughter, Evelyn Clemance Burke of Valentine, Nebraska, three sons Clarence Elliott of Nora, Nebraska, and Homer Gordon of Nelson, Nebraska, a twin sister, Mrs. Eva McCauley of Edgar, Nebraska, a sister, Lizzie A. Cornish of Fairfield, a brother Loewis (sic) W. Cornish of Ray (sic), Colorado, fourteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
