Description	:	WOODRUFF, SC - Effie Thelma Harrison, 96, of Woodruff, died Saturday March 20, 2010, at Regional Hospice House. She was the wife of the late Chester Paul Harrison and was the daughter of the late Samuel and Minnie Harrison Strange. A native of Walnut Grove, Mrs. Harrison was formerly a beautician and retired from Fiber Industries. She was a member of Eastern Star, Mt. Calvary Presbyterian Church, and attended Poplar Springs Full Gospel. Read More	WOODRUFF, SC - Effie Thelma Harrison, 96, of Woodruff, died Saturday March 20, 2010, at Regional Hospice House. She was the wife of the late Chester Paul Harrison and was the daughter of the late Samuel and Minnie Harrison Strange. A native of Walnut Grove, Mrs. Harrison was formerly a beautician and retired from Fiber Industries. She was a member of Eastern Star, Mt. Mrs. Harrison is survived by a son, James Edward Harrison of Woodruff, Jack Harrison and his wife Mary of Woodruff, and Larry Harrison and his wife Mary of Duncan; and two daughters, Ann Cooper of Woodruff, and Sherrill Boyce and her former husband Furman Boyce of Woodruff; a daughter-in-law, Emily Harrison of Woodruff; 34 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren; her caregiver and granddaughter, Kathy Williams, and Ann Cabe who was a friend and caregiver. She was predeceased by her son, Joe Harrison; a son-in-law, Jackie Cooper; and a daughter-in-law, Marjorie Harrison. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 23, 2010, at Living Waters Funeral Home and Crematory officiated by her grandsons, the Reverends Leslie Cooper and Steve Durham.
