Mr. Boynton was born in Enfield on July 22, 1901, son of Eddie V. and Mary (Nedeau) Boynton. He had been a resident of Ashland for many years and was employed as fireman in the Packard Woolen Mill. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Elsie Boynton; two daughters, Mrs. Loretta Sharrow and Miss Brenda Boynton, both of Ashland; two sons, Richard of Hampden, Mass., and Edward of Ashland; one sister, Mrs. Gladys Hughes of Ashland and several grandchildren. >The Ashland Citizen. June 10 — One of the largest brook trout ever caught in this section was brought in yesterday by Elbridge Boynton. The trout was caught in Magoon Brook and weighed 11 lbs. 13, ozs. and was 17 inches long. Brook trout in good numbers are now being caught in the different brooks in New Hampshire and lake trout trolling in the big lakes, Winnipesaukee, Asquam, Newfound Lake at Bristol, and many other Lakes in Northern New Hampshire. Many people thought that on account of the flood that the fish would be taken out of the brooks by the flow of the water.
