Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Aurelia, Iowa, with the Rev. Larry Lemke officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Larry Lemke officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m., at Redig Funeral Home in Aurelia. Eldon Dale Dilocker was born Oct. 6, 1927, in Mallard, Iowa, the son of Charles Ira and Lara (Boese) Dilocker. He was baptized Aug. 8, 1929, in Linn Grove, Iowa, and later confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cherokee. He graduated from high school in Cherokee. He served in the U.S. Navy from Sept. 28, 1945, until his discharge on May 12, 1952. On May 18, 1958, he married Lola Tuttle at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Aurelia. He retired from IPS after 29 years, where he worked as a lineman. He then worked for Wilson's in Cherokee for 10 years and did part-time work at the Hy-Vee Warehouse for two years. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, where he served as Sunday school superintendent and teacher. He was an avid stock car driver in Iowa and Minnesota. He enjoyed doing electrical and wood working. Survivors include his wife, Lola Dilocker of Cherokee; a daughter and her husband, Tauhni and Michael Hunt and their children, Chandler, Alyssa, Braeden and Logan, all of Dakota Dunes, S.D.; three brothers and their wives, Burdette and June Dilocker of Cherokee, Dennis and Sharon Dilocker of Cherokee, and Gerald and Gloria Dilocker of Lincoln, Neb.; a sister and her husband, Donna and Maynard Stief of Aurelia; four sisters-in-law, Sybel Dilocker of Port Arthur, Texas, Rita Dilocker of Omaha, Jean Dilocker of Cherokee, and Margo Dilocker of Wisconsin; a brother-in-law, Arnold Hibbing of Paullina, Iowa; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Earle, Carroll, Delwood and Byron Dilocker; and a sister, Wanda Hibbing.
