Vleck Died Following Lengthy Illness Last Rites Held Monday at SS. Peter's and Paul's Church; Burial In Calvary Mrs. Wesley F. Vleck died at Mercy hospital Thursday, July 27, at 7:00 p.m., following two weeks of serious illness. She entered the hospital July 17 for treatment and suffered a stroke the following day from which she failed to rally. Funeral services were held in SS. Peter's and Paul's church Monday morning at 9:00 o'clock with the Rev. Fr. Wm. P. Hyland celebrating the requiem Mass. Three nephews, Albert and Alfred Viktor and Jerome Payer served as acolytes at the Mass. Six cousins of the deceased were pall bearers and they included Roy Stoulil, Joe Sedlacek, Joe Hudek, Wesley Eral, James Smrkovski and James Sedlacek. Interment was in Calvary cemetery. Eleanor Stoulil, daughter of James and Anna Stoulil, was born in Roosevelt township June 4, 1891 where she later attended the rural schools and grew to womanhood. On February 25, 1935, she united in marriage with Wesley F. Vleck in SS. Peters and Paul's church in Pocahontas and they established their home on a farm in Roosevelt township where they have since resided. Mrs. Vleck was a lifelong member of SS. Peter's and Paul's church. Throughout her life time kindness and charity prevailed and at all times she was ready to help those in need. Besides her husband and one son, Thomas, age 7, she is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Mae Viktor and Mrs. Agnes Payer, of Pocahontas; and three brothers, Will Stoulil of Pocahontas, Joe Stoulil of Rolfe and Wesley Stoulil of Havelock. Those from a distance who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Ed Stoulil of Manson; Mr. and Mrs. Ed Stoulil of Gilmore City; Mr. and Mrs. Ed Biittner and Mr. and Mrs. Emil Hanish of Laurens; Mrs. Russell Steil of Mallard; Mr. and Mrs. Roy Stoulil, Mrs. Frank Stoulil of Ottosen; Mr. and Mrs. Albert Havlik of Fort Dodge; Mre. and Mrs. Lumeir Sedlacek of Fremont, Nebr.; Miss Mildred Stoulil of Omaha; Miss Alice Bartosh of Chicago; Mrs. Mary Hippet of Wilmont, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Vince Waters of Cherokee; Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Johnson of Rolfe, and Mr. and Mrs. Chas.
