Teal, 81, resident of Douglas county for 65 years, died at her home yesterday after a short illness. Mrs. Teal was a pioneer, and sewed the stars on the flag carried by the First Nebraska cavalry throughout the civil war. Teal died in 1909. Many of her paintings are to be found in the homes of her friends, for she was an artist of more than usual ability.
