Description	:	The McLouth Times, 2 November 1922 OBITUARY Eliza Ann Price Moses was born in Welchpool, Montgomeryshire, Wales, Jan. 31, 1842, and passed away Oct. 25, 1922, at the home of her son John. She came direct from Montgomeryshire, Wales to Davenport, Iowa. She was married to Richard W. Moses, Oct. 23, 1860. Unto them were born 10 children, 7 boys and 3 girls. One son, James, preceded her in death. They came to Kansas in the spring of 1874 and settled near Springdale. She was baptized and grew up in the Episcopal church. One son, James, preceded her in death. They came to Kansas in the spring of 1874 and settled near Springdale. She was baptized and grew up in the Episcopal church. She leaves to mourn her death, her husband, R. W. Moses, and 6 sons and 3 daughters: R. P. Moses of Springdale, J. D. and w. H. of McLouth; Charles of Tulsa, Okla.; Thomas of California, Mrs. Mary Hassett of Topeka, Mrs. Alfred Zimmerman of Jarbalo, Mrs. Henry Rose of California, Lewis of Oskaloosa; also 48 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at the house Friday at 1 p.m. by Rev. R. C. Corn, pastor of the United Brethren church of McLouth, after which the remains were laid to rest in Springdale cemetery.
