Read More	Elizabeth Adkins was born on April 22, 1922, at Howard, S.D., the daughter of John B. and Margaret Laurson Adkins. She died Sunday, March 9, at San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 57. Attending school in Norfolk, she graduated in 1940. She then attended Grinnell Colege in Grinnell, Iowa, graduating with a bachelor of arts degree in 1944. After college she worked in Kansas City for two years. Jan. 4, 1947, she was united in marriage to Keith W. Eiel, with the family home being in Superior until 1976 when they moved to San Antonio, Texas. She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Adkins, in 1975 and her son, John Adkins Eiel, in 1968. She is survived by her husband, Keith W., San Antonio; a son, David Edward Eiel, Superior; two daughters, Martha Eiel Dobry, Overton, Neb., and Elizabeth Margaret Eiel, San Antonio; her father, John B. Adkins, Osmond, Neb.; a brother, Richard Adkins, Osmond, Neb.; and four grandchildren, Stewart Eiel, Elizabeth Ann Eiel, Mathew Watson Dobry and James Pat Dobry. The funeral service was at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 13, at the Williams Funeral Home, Superior, with Pastor John Bender, Red Cloud, officiating. Interment was in the Evergreen Cemetery. Although her headstone reads 22 April 1922 her SS death index and the State of Texas Death Certificate signed by her husband Keith Eiel show a birthdate of 18 April 1922.
