VA., Sept. 2 – Mrs. Elizabeth Hoye Felty, 66, died on Friday, following an operation in Sibley Hospital, Washington, performed on Wednesday. She was born in Mineral County, W. Va., a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Hoye. She was the last of her family of three sisters. Funeral services were held in the Lee Funeral Home in Washington, on Sunday morning and the body was take to Oakland, Md. For burial. She came with her husband John Felty, lumber and real estate dealer, to Rowlesburg to make her home about 20 years ago. Surviving relatives are her husband, one son, Lucien E. Felty, postmaster of Rowlesburg, and one daughter, Mrs. Mary Virginia Scrivener, Washington, D.C. (Transcribed by Ronn E. Friend)
