BETTIE MOORE Mrs. Bettie Moore, age 88, died at her home in Hunnewell Thursday night, following a ten day illness. Mrs. Moore known to her friends as "Cousin Bettie," had been an invalid since 1926, when she suffered injuries in a fall. BETTIE MOORE Mrs. Bettie Moore, age 88, died at her home in Hunnewell Thursday night, following a ten day illness. Mrs. Moore known to her friends as "Cousin Bettie," had been an invalid since 1926, when she suffered injuries in a fall. She was born December 27, 1846, in Monroe county, south of Hunnewell, and had spent her entire life in Monroe and Shelby counties. She was a member of the on the Hunnewell Methodist church. She was married to George W. Moore in the year 1898, who survives with a foster daughter, Mrs. C. W. Lyell, who has cared for her for several years. Three brothers, Thaddeus, James and Robert Price, two sisters, Miss Mary Price and Mrs. Sallie Hardwick, preceded her in death. Funeral services were held at 10 o'clock Saturday morning. Burial was in the Cox family cemetery, south of Hunnewell.
