Bradley, in West Los Angeles, Cal., on March 10, of pneumonia. Mrs. Bradley and her twin daughters, Margaret and Marjorie, left for the west coast last September, and according to friends were pleasantly situated there. It has not been learned here definitely whether the body would be brought to Lead for funeral services and interment by the graveside of her late husband, who succumbed to a lengthy illness last July, or buried in California. Mrs. Bradley was a Nebraskan by birth and was 43 years of age. She was the youngest child in a family of twelve children. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Miller, now deceased, were one time residents of Terraville. Five brothers and four sisters survive the deceased in addition to her twin daughters. Mrs. B.M. Woods of this city is a cousin of the late Mrs. Bradley. Lead Daily Call, Thursday, March 17, 1938, page 1: Bradley Services Saturday Morning The body of the late Mrs. Elizabeth Bradley will arrive here tomorrow on the Burlington for funeral services and interment. Rosary services will be held at the Rounsevell funeral chapel on Friday evening at 8 o'clock, and funeral services will be held at 9:30 o'clock Saturday morning at St. Patrick's Catholic church. Mrs. Bradley succumbed to an attack of pneumonia in West Los Angeles on March 10. She and her twin daughters, Marjorie and Margaret, had been living on the west coast since they left Lead last September. Interment will be made here in Calvary cemetery. Two sisters of Mrs. Bradley, Mrs. Mary Woods, of Highmore, S.D. and Mrs. Ellen Droegmiller, of Wagner, S.D., are here to attend the services, and a brother, Robert F. Millar, of Gary, Ind., was expected to arrive this afternoon. Other members of the family living in Martin, S.D. are expected to arrive tomorrow. Lead Daily Call, Friday, March 18, 1938, page 1: Bradley Services Tomorrow Morning The body oft he late Mrs. Elizabeth Bradley arrived in Lead today from Los Angeles, where she succumbed last week to an attack of pneumonia, and funeral services will be held here tomorrow morning at 9:30 o'clock from St. Patrick's church. A sister, Mrs. Jean Smith, and Mrs. Bradley's twin daughters, Marjorie and Margaret, remained in Los Angeles, where services were held before the body was sent here. Other relatives here to attend the services are the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. Ella Droegmiller, of Wagner, S.D.; Mrs. Fern Keiser, of Martin, S.D.; Mrs. Mary Woods, of Highmore, S.D.; Aebert S. Millar, of Hobart, Ind.; Charles B. Millar, George Millar and Fred Millar, all of Martin. Another brother, William J. Millar, of Boise, Idaho, was unable to come. Elizabeth Cochrane Millar was born in Everett, Wash., January 3, 1895. She was married to Albert J. Bradley in Wagner, S.D. July 7, 1915, at which time she became a member of the Catholic church, and the famly came to Lead about nine years ago. Mr. Bradley died last July, and Mrs. Bradley and her daughters went to California in September. Mrs. Bradley's parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert B. Millar, were early day residents of Lead, having lived in this city in 1880. Interment will be made in Calvary cemetery with an escort composed of Art Helseth, H.C. Lambrecht, William Ramser, Joseph Welsh, Merle Gary and Charles Coll. Lead Daily Call, Monday, March 21, 1938, page 1: Last Rites Held For Mrs. Bradley Last rites in memory of the late Mrs. Elizabeth Bradley, widow of the late A.J. Bradley, who succumbed in Los Angeles, Cal, on March 10, to a brief illness of pneumonia, were held from St. Patrick's Catholic church Saturday forenoon at 9:30 o'clock. The body arrived from California on the noon Burlington Friday, and rosary services were recited at the Rounsevell funeral home Friday evening by the Catholic ladies guild. The Rev. P.M. O'Dowd was the celebrant of the requiem high mass and the Rev. M.S. Roach preached the sermon. Mrs. Ray Carroll sang the "Ave Maria," and Miss Helen Morganti sang "Face to Face." Miss Maxine Parsons was at the organ. Burial was in Calvary cemetery by the graveside of her husband, who died last July. California relatives of Mrs. Bradley, including her twin daughters, Margaret and Marjorie, were unable to come to Lead for the funeral. Pall bearers were Art Helseth, R. C. Lambricht, William Ramser, Merle Garry, Joseph Welsh, Charles Coll. Rounsevell Mortuary records (of Lead) state that she resided at 1518 Stone Street in Santa Monica, California; born in North Bend, Nebraska on January 3, 1895; died in Santa Monica on March 10, 1938 of broncho pneumonia, influenza and obesity at the age of 43 years 2 months and 7 days; wife of Albert Bradley; father - Robert Miller, born Illinois; mother - Annie Simmons, born Salem, Indiana; funeral at the Catholic Church on March 19, 1938.
