The deceased was born in Scotland, May 10, 1833. From there she moved with her parents to America in 1853, locating in Chicago. Her maiden name was Elizabeth Dick. Read More	CLARINDA HERALD, Clarinda, Iowa, 11 Jul 1902 (3) Page 2 North Grove Items: A friend and neighbor has left us, Mrs Elizabeth Bryson, wife of John Bryson, died at her home in Valley township, July 6th, 1902. The deceased was born in Scotland, May 10, 1833. From there she moved with her parents to America in 1853, locating in Chicago. Her maiden name was Elizabeth Dick. On December 3, 1853 she was married to John Bryson with whom she afterwards came to Iowa. In 1863 they located in Valley township, Page county, where she has resided until the time of her death. Seven children were born to this union all of whom, with a kind husband are left to mourn the loss of a loving wife and mother. The children are John Bryson, who resides in Missouri; David Bryson, Eunice MCoy and Nona Kendall, all of whom reside in Page county; Eliza Thurber, of Missouri; Thomas Bryson, of California; William Bryson, of Nebraska. Mrs Bryson was a chirstian woman and loved by all who knew her. She had been confined to her bed for about a year, her sufferings were very great. On Sunday, July 6th, her spirit fled from this world, to God who gave it, the funeral services were held at North Grove Church conducted by Rev Craft and the body was interred in the North Grove cemetery, Tuesday, July 8th.
