ELIZABETH MCPHERSON LISBON, Aug 5 -- Mrs. Elizabeth Ellen McPherson, 77 of Lisbon, died at 5:15 a.m. today at her home following a long illness. Mrs. McPherson was born in Wayne Township, Aug 8, 1861, the daughter of Robert and Julia Ann McQuoid. She was married to Charles McPherson, Nov 13, 1879. He died Feb 6, 1934. Mrs. McPherson had lived in Lisbon for the past four years, residing on Pritchard Ave with her daughter, Miss Nettie McPherson, a teacher at McKinley school. ... ELIZABETH MCPHERSON LISBON, Aug 5 -- Mrs. Elizabeth Ellen McPherson, 77 of Lisbon, died at 5:15 a.m. today at her home following a long illness. Mrs. McPherson was born in Wayne Township, Aug 8, 1861, the daughter of Robert and Julia Ann McQuoid. She was married to Charles McPherson, Nov 13, 1879. He died Feb 6, 1934. Mrs. McPherson had lived in Lisbon for the past four years, residing on Pritchard Ave with her daughter, Miss Nettie McPherson, a teacher at McKinley school. She was a member of the Mt. Lebanon Church all of her life and had been made a life-member of the Women's General Missionary Society of the church in 1924. She is survived by eight daughters, Miss Nettie McPherson at home, Mrs. Nellie E. Todd, Mrs. Edith B. Ewing, Mrs. Mary V. Frantz, of Lisbon, Mrs. Julia A Hull and Mrs. Elizabeth C. Williard of Summitville, Mrs. Olive M. Patterson Zelienople, Pa., and Mrs. Luella S. Scott of Hanoverton; four sons, Thomas N. of Summitville, Robert of Lisbon, Hugh of Columbiana , William of Youngstown; on brother, Rev. T. N. McQuoid of Schnectady, N. Y. ; three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Benner of Leetonia, Mrs. Mary E. Hays and Miss Ida McQuoid of Lisbon; 19 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Henry Funeral Home in charge of Rev. Lewis Frazier, assisted by Rev. John Cameron. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and anytime Sunday afternoon.
