Description	:	Source: Victor Record 7/14/1921 Elizabeth Fenwick was born at Rainton, County Durham, England September 19, 1853. While yet a young girl she was bereft of both her parents and went to live with her grandfather and kept house for him and her brothers. At the age of 16 years she joined the Weselyn M. E. Church of England and took an active part in the Sunday school work of the church. July 21, 1876 she married to John E. Wilson, at Durham, England. Read More	Source: Victor Record 7/14/1921 Elizabeth Fenwick was born at Rainton, County Durham, England September 19, 1853. While yet a young girl she was bereft of both her parents and went to live with her grandfather and kept house for him and her brothers. At the age of 16 years she joined the Weselyn M. E. Church of England and took an active part in the Sunday school work of the church. July 21, 1876 she married to John E. Wilson, at Durham, England. In the fall of 1880, she with her husband and one child came to America locating at Coal Valley, IL. After three years they returned to England, where they lived for a few years, coming again to the United States and locating at Streater, IL., later moving to Oskaloosa, Iowa, then to Victor where the deceased has continued to live for twenty-nine years. She died at the home of her daughter, Wednesday evening, July 6th, at the age of 67 years, 9 months and 17 days. Mrs. Wilson was the mother of four children, two of which, the oldest and youngest preceded their mother to the better world; one daughter, Mrs. E. C. Kempf and a son, Richard Wilson, both of Victor with the husband are left to mourn the loss of a loving and devoted mother. She also leaves three grandchildren and two brothers and a number of nieces and nephews all in England. She was of a gentle and kindly disposition, retiring and domestic in her habits. Her interest centered in her home and children; she lived for them, delighting in their successes and sorrowing in their misfortunes. For many years she has been in very poor health and the fatal disease began to show itself two years ago and although the best medical skill was given and loving care that husband, children and friends could bestow, she steadily failed. She will be greatly missed by her immediate family and many neighbors and friends who loved her. The funeral services were held Saturday afternoon,July 10 at 2:00 o'clock at the M. E. church, conducted by Rev. hawk, after which the body was tenderly laid to rest in the beautiful I. O. O. F. cemetery.
