Description	:	Elizabeth is often erroneously listed as the daughter of a David and Rachel Haring (who only had one child, a son named Ralph.) Her father was actually John A. Haring aka John Ferdon Haring, son of Abraham D[aniels] Haring and Dirckje Ferdon. Her mother was actually Elizabeth Haring, daughter of David A[brahams] Haring and Maria Alyea. Her parents were founding members of the splinter Nanuet True Reformed Church which formed in 1825, the records of which are lost, accounting for the lack of baptismal records for her and her siblings born after 1825.
