She was born July 12, 1897 in Ellensburg, a daughter of John Francis and Elizabeth (Fogarty) Travers. She and S. Albert Sorenson were married in Ellensburg on May 20, 1919 and farmed for 21 years on Riverbottom Road. He preceded her in death in 1955. She and Lawrence J. She was born July 12, 1897 in Ellensburg, a daughter of John Francis and Elizabeth (Fogarty) Travers. She and S. Albert Sorenson were married in Ellensburg on May 20, 1919 and farmed for 21 years on Riverbottom Road. He preceded her in death in 1955. She and Lawrence J. Gehlen were married in the Seattle area in 1958. He preceded her in death in 1974. She was a member of St. Andrews Church, Elks Lodge and Study Club ad was one of the founding members of the Rigadoon Club. Survivors include a son, Richard D. Sorenson of Seattle; a daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Chet Suver, Seattle; a stepson Joe and his wife, Rhonda Gehlen, Ellensburg; three stepdaughters and their husbands, Jean and Bruce Skibeness and Molly and Dick Baker of Issaquah, and Pat and Carl Miller, Seattle; two daughters-in-law Judi Sorenson of Ellensburg, and Mary Sorenson, Seattle; 16 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Stanley and James Sorenson. Mass of the Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Andrews Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
