"Betty" (Masker) Ring-Driver, 91 January 21, 1927 ~ February 27, 2018 Betty was born January 21, 1927, in Minden, Iowa, to Joseph and Loretta (Good) Masker. She graduated from St. Joseph High School, Neola in 1945. Betty married Jacob "Jake" Ring, Jr. in 1946. They were married until his passing in 1984. They had been blessed with nine children. Betty married Thomas “Romie” Driver in 1994. They were married until his passing in 2009. Betty worked at Allied Communications or 26 years, retiring in 1992. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Neola. Elizabeth J. “Betty” Ring-Driver, age 91, of Neola, Iowa passed away February 27, 2018 at CountryHouse in Council Bluffs, Iowa. In addition to her parents and husbands, Betty was preceded in death by infant children, Gary and Barbara Ring; sons, Terry and Phillip Ring; grandchildren, Casey Jo and Seth Zimmerman; brothers, Bill, Leo and Richard Masker. Betty is survived by 4 daughters, Sharon (Darrell) Kiesel of Shelby, Iowa, Bonnie (Joe) Wredt of Council Bluffs, Kathy (Gary, Sr.) Gravert of Venus, Texas, Mary Ann (Fred) Thomas of Neola; son, Larry (Luana) Ring of Neola; 19 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Anne Maxwell of Council Bluffs; 2 sisters, Mary Jo (Jim) Burns of Omaha, Donna (Dick) Scott of Underwood, Iowa; 3 sisters-in-law, Jeanette Masker of Omaha, Jeanette Masker and Shirley Masker both of Neola; many nieces and nephews. Visitation 4-6 pm Friday, March 2, at Cutler-O'Neill Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home, 545 Willow Avenue, Council Bluffs, followed by a wake service at 6 pm. Mass of Christian Burial 10 am Saturday, March 3 , at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 309 3rd Sreet, Neola, Iowa. A luncheon in the church hall will follow the interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery-Neola, 308 4th Street, Neola. Memorials in her name are suggested to St. Croix Hospice.
