Description	:	Elizabeth Koerselman, 82, of Sioux Center died Monday, Sept. 24, 2001, at Sioux Center Community Hospital. Services were held on Friday, Sept. 28 at 10:30 a.m. at Middleburg Free Grace Reformed Church in Middleburg. The Rev. Stephen Breen officiated. Burial was at Middleburg Cemetery under the direction of the Memorial Funeral Home, Sioux Center. Elizabeth was born on Aug. 19, 1919, at Leota, Minn., the daughter of John and Johanna (Woertink) Landhuis. She graduated from high school in Boyden. Read More	Elizabeth Koerselman, 82, of Sioux Center died Monday, Sept. 24, 2001, at Sioux Center Community Hospital. Burial was at Middleburg Cemetery under the direction of the Memorial Funeral Home, Sioux Center. Elizabeth was born on Aug. 19, 1919, at Leota, Minn., the daughter of John and Johanna (Woertink) Landhuis. She graduated from high school in Boyden. She married Cornie Koerselman on Oct. 3, 1940, at Boyden. THe couple farmed near Middleburg until retiring to Sioux Center in 1989. Mrs. Koerselman was a member of Free Grace Reformed Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher, catechism teacher and was an active member of the Women's Circle. She enjoyed leading Bible studies and volunteering at the school and as a Hospice volunteer. She also enjoyed quilting, flowers, gardening, sending cards and encouraging people. Survivors include her husband, Cornie; five children and their spouses, Phyllis and Wayne Meerdink of Orange City, John and Kathy of Sioux Center, Gregory and Donna of Hospers, Cornelius "Corky" and Sherri of Sibley and Vivian and John Koolstra of Pella; 17 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-greatgrandchildren; and a sister, Lillian Koerselman of Sheldon. She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers; a sister; a son, Vincent Dale; and two great-grandchildren, Matthew Zevenbergen and Karli Punt.
