Description	:	Mrs. F.W. Beck, life long resident of Tipton county, died Monday morning at 7 o'clock at her home south of Tipton. Mrs. Beck was operated on at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis three years ago and again six weeks ago. Finally she lapsed into a state of coma and never regained consciousness. The body was taken to Young's Funeral Home for preparation and will remain there until the hour of services. Funeral rites will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 at the Lutheran Church with Rev. Elizabeth Katherine Sandmann Beck was born July 25, 1869 in Tipton county the daughter of Frederick and Louisa Sandmann, who came to the United States from Germany on a sailing boat and settled in Tipton county. Eight children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Sandmann, two of whom survive Mrs. Beck Mrs. George Schulenborg who resides at the south edge of Tipton and Mrs. William Fischvogt of this city. The deceased children are Mrs. Anna Wiggins, Mrs. Louise Honnnold, Fred Sandmann, John Sandmann and Henry Sandmann. The deceased was married to F. W. Beck, who survives, on April 6, 1893. During the time that Mr. Beck was sheriff of Tipton county they resided in the city of Tipton. Five children were born to this union, all of whom survive. They are Dr. Walter Beck, of Springfield, Missouri; Roy Beck, postmaster of Tipton; Ralph Beck of Sharpsville; Mrs. Estel Hiatt of Carmel; and Elizabeth Beck also of this city.
