The remains will be brought home on this evening's local. The late Mrs Nicholson was formerly Elizabeth Leach, and was 57 years of age. Three of the five children born to them are still living – Edward, May of Almonte, and Mrs Gordon McCrum of Smiths Falls. These with her husband are left to mourn the sudden death of wife and mother. Nicholson The following particulars regarding the late Mrs. Jos. Nicholson who died in Ottawa on April 22nd while consulting an eye specialist. Reference to whose sudden death was made last week have been handed in for publication. She was before her marriage, Elizabeth Leach, daughter of Mrs James Leach of Almonte, by her first marriage. She leaves one sister, Mrs. Masterman of Almonte and one brother, Mr Wm Leach of Ramsay. Two daughters Mrs McCrum of Smith Fall and Miss May who was with her to Ottawa; and a son Edward, also survive, together with her sorrowing husband. The deceased Lady was of a quiet disposition and was much esteemed by all who knew her. The funeral took place Saturday, the 25th and was largely attended the floral offerings were numerous and beautiful. Funeral to the 8th Line Cemetery.
