Description	:	Mrs. Elizabeth Pearson, whose death had been expected for several days, died Sunday night, shortly before 8 o'clock, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Garrett Jackson, on North street, her death following an illness of several weeks due to heart complications. Funeral services have not been fully completed, but the services will likely be Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. Pearson, whose maiden name was Elizabeth M. Funeral services have not been fully completed, but the services will likely be Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. Pearson, whose maiden name was Elizabeth M. Felinger, was born September 28, 1864 and was the daughter of Frederick and Sarah (Woods) Felinger. She was born in Decatur county and spent her girlhood there. Shortly after her marriage to William Pearson, they moved to Clinton county, where they resided for several years, later moving to Jennings county to make their home. Her husband died there in 1903, and in 1912, she came to Tipton to make her home. She is survived by five children; Mrs. Garret Jackson, with whom she has made her home for the past two and one-half years; Mrs. Harry Coy, of Tipton; John Pearson, of Ekin; Mrs. Edgar Tarkington, of Bloomington; and Mrs. Clarence Hall, of Hartsville. One son, Freddie, is deceased. She is also survived by five stepchildren to whom she had given a mother's care; Joe Pearson, Mrs. Sim Cox, Elmer Pearson, Charles Pearson and Dave Pearson. Mrs. Pearson was a splendid woman who leaves a large number of friends to mourn her passing.
