She was born at Cranberry on April 30, 1893and her parents were the late Karl and Mary Wendel Link. Her husband, John Borgerding, whom she married at Cranberry November 16, 1915, died November 1, 1955. Survivors include six children, George and Mrs. Laura Dorsten, Coldwater; Mrs. Otto (Marita) Hess, Vandalia, Oscar, St. Henry; Mrs. Bill (Edna) Cummins, Dayton and Mrs. Leland (Clara) McBride, Celina rural route. One daughter is deceased. There are 13 grandchildren and the following sisters and brothers, Mrs. William (Katherine) Uhlenhake, St. Henry; Edward Link, Stryker; Adolph, Coldwater; Cornelius of Montezuma and Alfred, address unknown. The deceased was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, the Daughters of Isabella and Christian Mother's Sodality. Funeral services were held on Wednesday in Holy Trinity Church with Rev. Richard Riedel officiating.
