Read More	Pioneer of County Dead Mrs Elizabeth Sharp Fry, of Clemons, Dies at Daughter's Home Death at 11:55 today claimed Mrs Elizabeth Sharp Fry, aged 79, a pioneer of this county, and mother of Mrs Joseph Eley and Mrs Robert Wantz, of the Clemons neighborhood. Mrs Fry died at the home of Mrs Eley, two and one-half miles southeast of Clemons, where she had been taken four weeks ago from the home of Mrs Wantz. Mrs Fry's death was due to paralysis, with which she had been afflicted for three years. Mrs Fry was born Elizabeth Wantz in the province of Alsace, France, May 10, 1838. She came to this country as a girl of 16, in 1844, and in New York state, in 1856, became the wife of Gabriel Sharp. He and his bride came that year to this county, settling in the French Grove neighborhood, north of State Center, where Mr Sharp died in 1861. Two years later his widow was married to James Fry, of Nevada, where Mr and Mrs Fry lived until the death of Mr Fry in 1898. Since then Mrs Fry had made her home with her children. Surviving Mrs Fry are five children. Three of them, G F Sharp of Clemons, Mrs Eley and Mrs Louise Larrowe of Viscount, Canada, are children of the first marriage. The other two children are Mrs George Taylor of Nevada and Mrs Wantz. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon, brief services being held at the Eley home at 1 o'clock, and the funeral proper from the Christian church at 3 o'clock.
