Description	:	Ell Weber Ell Weber, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Weber, was born near Sterling, Neb., on December 30, 1892. He was baptized in the name of the Triune God on January 8th the following year. After having received instruction in the Way of Salvation in catechetical instruction, he was confirmed in the faith of his baptism on March 28, 1909, by Rev. Schroeder of St. John’s Lutheran church in Sterling. On February 15, 1921, he was united in marriage with Miss Katie Hartog of Sterling. Read More	Ell Weber Ell Weber, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Weber, was born near Sterling, Neb., on December 30, 1892. He was baptized in the name of the Triune God on January 8th the following year. After having received instruction in the Way of Salvation in catechetical instruction, he was confirmed in the faith of his baptism on March 28, 1909, by Rev. Schroeder of St. John’s Lutheran church in Sterling. On February 15, 1921, he was united in marriage with Miss Katie Hartog of Sterling. The couple settled on a farm near Pickrell, where they engaged in farming, the work which he loved best of all. This union was blessed with one child, Delores, born in August 1936. In 1941, Ell had to give up farming on account of ill health. He decided to sell out and move to Adams. But as soon as he regained his strength, he longed to be back on the farm. He purchased a small farm southwest of Adams, and he was happy at his work until illness again overtook him. He bore his sufferings patiently and always hoped for recovery. But on Sunday morning January 23, he turned worse and was finally overcome. On Tuesday morning at 8:30 he was relieved of all pain and sufferings and passed away. He attained the age of 51 years and 26 days. May he rest in peace! Those who mourn his passing are his wife, Katie, and daughter, Delores, aged 7; his immediate family, Harm, John Weber, Mrs. Lena Wilken, all of Adams; Mrs. Elizabeth Haecker of Pickrell; Mrs. Dora Wilken of Raymond, Neb., and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at American Lutheran church at Adams on Thursday, January 27. The body was laid to rest in the Adams cemetery. Rev C.
