Description	:	John Weber, 83 years of age, of Rt. 1 Adams, passed away in a Beatrice hospital Wednesday morning. He was born on July 2, 1894, near Sterling, and lived in the Sterling and Adams vicinity all of his life. He was a member of the American Lutheran Church, of Adams. Survivors include his son, Fred E. Weber of Adams; two daughters, Mrs. Henry (Minnie) Burh of Adams, and Mrs. Harvey (Mildred) Fossler of Beatrice; 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was born on July 2, 1894, near Sterling, and lived in the Sterling and Adams vicinity all of his life. He was a member of the American Lutheran Church, of Adams. Survivors include his son, Fred E. Weber of Adams; two daughters, Mrs. Henry (Minnie) Burh of Adams, and Mrs. Harvey (Mildred) Fossler of Beatrice; 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Emma, in 1959; and by an infant daughter, 7 brothers, and 4 sisters. Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, November 19 in the American Lutheran church at Adams, with Rev. Fred Wolff officiating. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery at Adams. A family prayer service was held at 1:15 p.m. Saturday in the parish hall of the church. A memorial has been established to the Voice of St. John with Lorin Wusk and Owen VanGrueningen in charge.
