Description	:	ELLA BEATTY Ella, daughter of Benjamin and Margaret Forbes Beatty was born Oct. 3, 1858, near Keosauqua Iowa, and passed away on May 4, 1944, aged 85 years and 7 months. Her entire life has been spent in and near the home of her birth where she made many friends whom she cherished dearly. Read More	ELLA BEATTY Ella, daughter of Benjamin and Margaret Forbes Beatty was born Oct. 3, 1858, near Keosauqua Iowa, and passed away on May 4, 1944, aged 85 years and 7 months. Her entire life has been spent in and near the home of her birth where she made many friends whom she cherished dearly. In her youth she united with the Methodist church of Keosauqua, under the pastorate of Rev. C. V. Cowan, and was a faithful attendant as long as her health permitted. She was also a member of the Rebekah lodge during the more active years of her life. She lived a useful and active life and was always willing to lend a helping hand where she was needed. Her many acts of kindness were rewarded by the devotion shown by her neighbors and friends during her last illness. She was preceded in her passing by her father, mother, three sisters and two brothers. One sister, Emma, and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Agnes Beatty, who have been loving and devoted companions, along with one niece and six nephews, together with a host of friends, will miss the kindly smile of their loved one. Services were conducted from the Keosauqua Methodist church at 2 p.m. Sunday, the Rev. Treverton Warren officiating. Interment was in the Fellows cemetery. Music was by three great nieces, Shirley Craig, Eleanor Strait, Winona Beatty accompanied by Mrs. L. B. Liddy.
