Description	:	Ella Langille The unexpected death of Ella, wife of Sylvanus Langille, of Scarsdale, which occurred on Wednesday, July 28th, came as a distinct shock to her many relatives and friends. Although the deceased had been in failing health for several years her fatal illness was of very short duration. Born at West Northfield, May 27, 1879, she was a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Rafuse) Sarty, and was a woman of kind and generous disposition, having a large circle of friends. Read More	Ella Langille The unexpected death of Ella, wife of Sylvanus Langille, of Scarsdale, which occurred on Wednesday, July 28th, came as a distinct shock to her many relatives and friends. Although the deceased had been in failing health for several years her fatal illness was of very short duration. Born at West Northfield, May 27, 1879, she was a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Rafuse) Sarty, and was a woman of kind and generous disposition, having a large circle of friends. She was ever a devoted wife and mother, a loyal daughter, sister and friend, and will be greatly missed. She was a member of the United Baptist Church at Parkdale, and a life member of the Women's Missionary Union, having been President of the local Mission Band for a number of years. She is survived by a sorrowing husband, two daughters, Arna (Mrs. Harris Whynot), at home, and Jessie, of Medford, Mass.; also an aged mother, five sisters, Ida (Mrs. Bennett Eisener), Bertha (Mrs. Norman Rafuse), both of Scarsdale; Anne (Mrs. S.J. Clarke) of Chelmsford, Mass., and Misses Bernice and Jenny Lind Sarty, of Medford, and two brothers, Arthur, of Boston, Mass., and Hosea, of Scarsdale, besides a large number of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. The funeral which took place from her home on Friday afternoon was conducted by her pastor, Rev. B.G. Smith, who spoke comfortingly from the twenty-third Psalm. The pall bearers were Ezra, Albert and Joseph Eisener, and Cedric Rafuse, all nephews of the deceased. The family deeply appreciate the many beautiful floral tributes and expressions of sympathy.
