Millirons of this city, died Monday afternoon at 5 o'clock at her home on West Eighth street, after suffering a stroke of paralysis Sunday afternoon. She had been ill for the past three months, but had not seemed to be in a very serious condition until Sunday when the stroke came. Millirons of this city, died Monday afternoon at 5 o'clock at her home on West Eighth street, after suffering a stroke of paralysis Sunday afternoon. "The children were all notified at once, and were able to be here with the exception of Mrs. Charles Brown, who lives in Montana. She is now on her way to Concordia and will probably arrive Thursday morning. "Ella Jeanette Johnston was born in Canada, Feb 8, 1864. When she was two years old, her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Archie Johnston, took her to Indiana where they made their home for awhile. They moved later to Illinois and then to Kansas, coming here in 1881 and locating on a farm southeast of town. The following year they moved to the permanent residence southwest of town. "On December 23, 1888, she was married to A. D. Millirons, and they went to the Millirons homestead west of town, where the couple lived for 25 years, and where their five children were born and reared. In 1911, they moved to Concordia and Mrs. Millirons had endeared herself to a host of friends and neighbors here, who, with the family, mourn her death. "Surviving her are her husband; a son, Walter; four daughters, Mrs. Nellie Clemons, Mrs. Florence Brown, Mrs. Ruby Kegebehn, and Mrs. Anna Taylor; one sister, Mrs. Ever Johnston, and three brothers, Will, George, and Arthur Johnston. "On account of the distance from which a daughter, Mrs. Charles Brown, must come, arrangements for the services have not yet been announced, but will probably be held Thursday or Friday, and will be conducted from the home."
