Read More	Mrs. George Kinney, Pioneer of Montana is called to death Tues, 13 Sep 1932, Helena Daily Independent, Pg. 3, Column 4 Mrs. George Kinney, 68, a pioneer of the Helena valley and a resident of Montana for 64 years, passed away about 10 o'clock last night at the family home in the valley after and illness of several weeks. Mrs. Kinney was born in Missouri and came to Montana with her parents at the age of four. The family crossed the plains in a covered wagon, finally settling in this county. Her husband is one of the oldest and best known ranchers of the Helena valley. The family has lived at it ranch home north of Helena for many years. Mrs. Kinney's death is regretted by hundreds of friends in Helena and throughout the county. She was loved and esteemed by all who knew her. Besides her husband, she is survived by four daughters and two sons who are Mrs. Fred Hagen of Stevensville, Mrs. James Hardgrove of Townsend, Mrs. George R. Merritt and Mrs. R. S. Baxter of the Helena valley, and C. Wesley Kinney and P. G. Kinney of the valley. She also leaves two sisters, Mrs. James Keys of the Helena valley and Mrs. Peter Hilger of this city. The body is at the Opp and Conrad funeral home. Arrangements for services will be announced later.
