Description	:	Mrs. Douglas Neal, for many years a resident of this vicinity, died Saturday at 3 o’clock in Villisca at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Elmer Gray, her death resulting from a nervous breakdown. Ella M. Moore was born May 5, 1885, five miles southeast of Villisca and was 64 years old at her death. She was married September 4, 1888 at Winfield, Kansas to Douglas Neal, who preceded her in death one month. To them were born six children, all of whom survive. Read More	Mrs. Douglas Neal, for many years a resident of this vicinity, died Saturday at 3 o’clock in Villisca at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Elmer Gray, her death resulting from a nervous breakdown. Ella M. Moore was born May 5, 1885, five miles southeast of Villisca and was 64 years old at her death. She was married September 4, 1888 at Winfield, Kansas to Douglas Neal, who preceded her in death one month. To them were born six children, all of whom survive. They are Albert, Roy, and Ivan Neal and Mrs. Elmer Gray, all of Villisca, Mrs. Arthur Smith, of Massena, Iowa, and Guy Neal of Council Bluffs, Iowa. There are also 18 grandchildren, son sister, Mrs. Lucinda Neal of Brunswick, Nebraska and four brothers, Ed Moore of Council Bluffs, and Peter and Albert Moore of Villisca. The funeral was held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the home of the daughter, Mrs. Elmer Gray, conducted by Rev. O. C. McGuire. The singing was by Mrs. Helen Penwell and Mrs. Lacy Burris, accompanied by Mrs. Guy Anderson, and the pall bearers were the four sons and two sons-in-law. Interment was in the Villisca, Cemetery. He died August 17, 1929 in Villisca, Montgomery, Iowa, Ray Sutphen, undertaker, Villisca, Iowa. She married James Douglas Neal on September 4, 1888 in Iowa.
