July 14, 1939, at the age of 82 years, 2 months and 16 days. Mrs. Skinner had fallen a week before and suffered a broken hip and had been taken to the York hospital for care and treatment. She was married to Marcus Skinner July 6, 1876, at Marietta, Ohio. To this union twelve children were born. Her husband and three children preceded her in death. Surviving are: one sister, Mrs. Margaret Simmons of Chicago, Illinois; nine children, Charles and Arthur of Edgar, John of Nora, Nebr.; Otha of Angus, Nebraska; Mrs. Clyde Kinnison of Wymore, Nebraska; Mrs. Mabel Beebe of Norfolk, Nebraska; Mrs. Rose King of Superior, Nebraska; Mrs. Nellie Shaw of Oxford, Nebraska, and Mrs. Anna Shipley of South Gate California, all of whom were present except Mrs. Shipley; 28 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild. When we know our dear one is happy Waiting in the other room. Funeral services for Mrs. Skinner were held at the Methodist Church in Edgar Sunday, July 16, at 2:30 p.m. Rev S. G. Rasmusson of Ohiowa was in charge, Interment was made in the Edgar Cemetery. Pall bearers were grandsons of Mrs. Skinner, Gene Kinnison, Guy Skinner, Junior Shaw, John King, Max Skinner and Eli Skinner. A male quartette composed of Cecil Strawser, M. R. Cushing, Ralph McKinney and Irvin Essinger sang. Mrs. Lydia Phelps was at the piano. Those from out-of-town were Mr. and Mrs. George King and Mr. and Mrs. Hessie King of Superior, Miss Edith King of Deshler, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Spawn of Chester, Mr. and Mrs. John King and family of Cozad, Mr. and Mrs. John Skinner and Eli Skinner of Ruskin, Mr. and Mrs, Clyde Kinnison of Wymore, Gene Kinnison of Des Moines, Iowa, Mr. and Mrs. Clari*e Kinnison of Omaha, Mrs. Mabel Beebe of Norfolk, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Shaw and family of Oxford, E.
