Julius Roehl officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Aberdeen. The Huss Funeral Home, Redfield is in charge of arrangements. Julius Roehl officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Aberdeen. The Huss Funeral Home, Redfield is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Sievers died Monday morning, Sept. 19, 1977, at her home near Turton. Visitation will be Tuesday afternoon and evening and all day Wednesday at the funeral home and at the church for one hour prior to the service Thursday. Ella Clausen was born July 14, 1893, at Denison, Iowa. She lived there until 1905 when she moved with her family to South Dakota. She graduated from Ashton High School and earned a teaching degree from Northern Normal and Industrial School. She then taught school for years until her marriage to George Sievers in 1925. Since their marriage they have resided on a farm west of Turton. She was a member of the Ruth-Rebekah Lodge No. 6 of Ashton. Survivors include her husband, four sisters, Mrs. Elmer (Selma) Olson, Turton; Mrs. Carl (Bertha) Nelson, Redfield; Martha Clausen, Redfield; and Mrs. Floyd (Amanda) Steffes, Conde; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
