Burial was in North Lawn cemetery at Spencer. Alma Heikens, daughter of George and Anna Heikens, was born in Hardin county Iowa, May 20, 1972. December 8, 1893, she was married to D. V. Beving at Ackley, Iowa. Ten children were born to this uinion. The three sons are: Joseph, Reuben and Eugene. The seven daughters are: Mrs. Georgia Fuller of Royal, Mrs. Dora Templeman of Webb, Mrs. Esther Gaffner, Mrs Luella Carsten, Mrs. Frances Fiedler and Mrs. Eunice Ebereole of the Spencer vicinity, and Mrs. Elleen Gilmore of Sutherland. Mrs. Beving ia survived by her husband, three sons, seven daughters, one sister, Mrs. H. Miller of Fostoria, three brothers, Isaac Heikens of Fostoria and Will Heikens and Harry Heikens of Spencer. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. Milford - Mrs. Elma Beving, widow of the late D. T. Beving, died at the Spencer Municipal hospital Tuesday following a long illness. Mrs. Beving, who was 81, had lived east of Fostoria for many years. Services will be held on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Cobb-Warner chapel at Spencer. Rev. M. R. Houts will officiate and burial will be made in North Lawn Memorial cemetery.
