(Funeral details followed) Elmer was born February 21, 1928, at Palmer to Lee Roy and Fannie (Reece) Patton. He grew up and was educated in the Fullerton-Palmer area. He was a member of the Fairview United Methodist Church, served as officer of the Sunday School and Treasurer, Chairman of the Administrative Board, School Board member, Extension Board, Rural Fireman Board, where he served as President; past president of the Creamery Board; American Legion Post 151 and Eagles both of Fullerton; also a member of Board of Directors of Farmer's Home administration. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Doug of Palmer and Jerry of Fullerton; one daughter, Mrs. Chris (Tracy) Chapman of Inglewood, Colorado; 7 grandchildren; two brothers, Dale of Aurora and Ronald of Marshalltown, Iowa; two sisters; Mrs. Robert (Donna) Veitch of North Hollywood, California, and Mrs. Freeman (Lila) Rittenhouse of Sacramento, California.
