ROY PATTON DIES Funeral services for Mrs. Roy Patton, 60, were held September 23, at the Beaman & Palmer Funeral Home. Rev. Thomas Rehorn, pastor of the Methodist Church, officiated. Mrs. Patton was born March 13, 1907, on a farm near Palmer. Her parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. Elmer C. Reece. She attended Merrick county schools and was graduated from Grand Island high school. For several years she taught in Nance and Merrick County Schools. On June 1, 1927, she was married to Mr. Patton at Palmer. They lived on farms southwest of Fullerton until January 1966 when they moved into Fullerton. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Donna) Veitch of North Hollywood, California; and Mrs. Freeman (Lila) Rittenhouse of Costa Mesa, California; three sons, Elmer Patton of Fullerton, Dale Patton of Doniphan and Ronald Patton of Marshalltown, Iowa; fifteen grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. Lois Smith of York, Mrs, Omar Gaymon of Grand Junction, Colorado, and Miss Evelyn Reece of Denver, Colorado.
