Description	:	Elmer Pederson was born to his loving parents Rasmus and Elsie Marie "Marie" (Bovbjerg) Pedersen on Tuesday January 16, 1917 at Scribner, Dodge County Nebraska. Elmer was raised on an Ames , Dodge County Nebraska farm which now has a new house with the GPS of 41.543007, -96.674690, I believe the house Elmer was raised in was just to the south of this new house. Read More	Elmer Pederson was born to his loving parents Rasmus and Elsie Marie "Marie" (Bovbjerg) Pedersen on Tuesday January 16, 1917 at Scribner, Dodge County Nebraska. Elmer was raised on an Ames , Dodge County Nebraska farm which now has a new house with the GPS of 41.543007, -96.674690, I believe the house Elmer was raised in was just to the south of this new house. I myself was raised about three quarter miles to the east southeast as the crow would fly. My family farm building site had a GPS estimate of 41.540971, -96.664389 and has all since been removed. Elmer probably attended elementary school at district 30 with a site GPS estimate of 41.546746, -96.693258, the school house has since been removed too. Elmer was united in marriage to Bertha Jane Nelson in 1947, they were blessed over the years of their marriage with a son. In the fall of 1957 Elmer had surgery, his neighbors all pitched in and harvested forty acres of Elmer's milo with the ladies providing a big meal to feed the hungry harvesters. In the early sixties when I was a young man I assisted Elmer with his hay baling. I ran his Allis Chalmers WD-45, we had just started baling his hay when a shower rolled through. We then went to his farm house and listened to the radio, they said sunny skies. Elmer then commented they should just look out their window. Sadly Elmer life expired in the Ames' farm barn on Friday March 17, 1967 at the age of 50 years, 2 months, 1 day which does not include his last day, he lived a total of 18,322 days. My research found no information on Elmer's funeral, he was interred in the Fremont Memorial Cemetery. Elmer's information was provided from researching many resources and my memory. This biography was created as an honor to Elmer by a family friend Loren R. I believe all lives matter, even the lives of those who have passed.
