Description	:	Elsie and her twin brother, Edward Carl, were born on February 21, 1904 in in Seward County, German Town, NE on the farmstead. During WWII, German was not allowed spoken, so the town is now called Garland, NE. She was the daughter of Frederick William Westerhoff and Emma Christine Freidericka Meyer. She married Walter Henery Philip Hoscheit on September 15, 1921 in the Westerhoff home in German Town, NE. Read More	Elsie and her twin brother, Edward Carl, were born on February 21, 1904 in in Seward County, German Town, NE on the farmstead. During WWII, German was not allowed spoken, so the town is now called Garland, NE. She was the daughter of Frederick William Westerhoff and Emma Christine Freidericka Meyer. She married Walter Henery Philip Hoscheit on September 15, 1921 in the Westerhoff home in German Town, NE. To this union three children were born, Vernard Arthur, a female infant that died at birth, and Delores Faye. The couple continued to farm near Brunswick, NE until after WWII when they sold the farm and moved to West Point, NE. Here Walt found work with the railroad and Elsie worked at a dinner as a waitress. They bought a home at 332 So. Lincoln Street and lived there their remaining years. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 5, 1972. Elsie was ill and admitted to the hospital in West Point in June 1991. Determining she was no longer able to care for herself, Vern along with Delores decided it was time for her to live in a nursing home. Elsie became extremely depressed and died at the West Point hospital on June 24, 1991 with broken heart noted on death certificate.
