Description	:	Elsie Pedersen Elsie Pedersen was born June 15, 1884 at Dannebrog, the daughter of Niels and Maren Petersen Steffensen.She received her education in a rural school in Howard County and grew to womanhood in that area. On Octber 25 1905, she was united in marriage to Marius Pedersen at the home of her parents near Dannebrog. The couple made their home on a farm near Rockville until Mrs. Pedersen's death in 1916. In 1947 she moved into Rockville where she resided untill failing health necessitated her entering the Abel's Nursing Home in St. Paul this year. She was an active member of the Rockville Community Church and Ladies Aid group of this church. She passed from this life on Friday, December 20 1974 at Abel's Nursing Home in St. Paul at the age of 90 years 5 months and 5 days. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Henry (Carrie) Hansen Jr. of St. Paul; three sons, Alvin of Seattle, Washington, Arthur of Tacoma, Washington and Howard of Peoria, Illinois; eight grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her husband, one daughter, Anna, five sisters, Mrs. Emma Jensen, Mrs. Mary Bennett, Mrs Stina Lauritsen, Mrs. Anna Thomsen and Mrs. Sarah Lauritsen and to brothers, Soren and Jens.
