She was born on January 2, 1924, to Clay and Jeanette (Cochran) Alderman in Orofino, Idaho, where she was raised and educated. She married Delbert Richman on September 18, 1953, in Pasco, Washington. Richman, age 82 of Prosser, entered into rest on August 13, 2006, at Kadlec Medical Center in Richland. She was born on January 2, 1924, to Clay and Jeanette (Cochran) Alderman in Orofino, Idaho, where she was raised and educated. She married Delbert Richman on September 18, 1953, in Pasco, Washington. They moved to the Horse Heaven in 1957 where they lived for 47 years until moving to Prosser in February of 2004. Elvree was a homemaker and also drove school buses for the Prosser School District. She enjoyed taking care of her family and was a fantastic cook. She was a very giving person and her friends are too numerous to count. Elvree was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church and the American Legion. Elvree is survived by her husband of 53 years, Delbert Richman; her daughters, Janet Kay Kime and husband, Harley "Bud" and Valerie "Cookie" Maples; three grandchildren, April Wheeler, Harley Grinder and Renee Howard; and four great-grandchildren, Sundae Wheeler, Amber Wheeler, Jacob McClain and Marissa Grinder. She is also survived by one sister, Vahl Richman; daughter-in-law, Shari and husband, Steve Gump; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by two sons, Jack Howard and Monty Dickinson. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 19, 2006, at the Calvary Baptist Church in Prosser. Memorials contributions may be made to Prosser Memorial Long Term Care. Prosser Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
