Description	:	Elza Mae Taylor was born October 14, 1896, on a farm 5 miles northeast of Nelson. She was the daughter of Luther and Mary Jane Moss. Elza passed away May 6, 1965, at Mary Lanning Hospital in Hastings. She spent her early life on a farm in Nuckolls County and became a member of the United Brethren Church of Angus. She was united in marriage with Charlie R. Taylor of Angus, April 5, 1927. They made their home in Hastings, and were the parents of one daughter, Joan Darlene. Elza was preceded in death... Elza was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charlie, one sister, Nora Wright and one brother, Harrison Moss. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Andrew Torok, of Minneapolis, Minnesota. One sister, Mrs. Rosie Wright, of Bird City, Kansas, one brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Moss of Geneva and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Pearl Moss of Nelson, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, at the Butler and Volland Funeral Home in Hastings with Rev. Earle Barclay, officiating. Interment was in the Edgar Cemetery.
