Seguin, who died at her home on Wednesday of last week of pneumonia, was held from the Catholic Church last Sunday, Interment was made beside her husband in the Catholic cemetery. Deceased was an old resident of the community and admitted by all who knew her. Amelia Barry was born near Montreal, Canada, March 16, 1854. She came to Jefferson, this county, at the age of 10 years. Was united in marriage and moved to a farm five and a half miles west of Elk Point, where her death occurred. Mr. and Mrs. Seguin were the parents of twelve children, all of whom survive, namely, Mrs. Albert Stephens and Philip Seguin of Hecla, S.D.; Mrs. Fred Trudeau of Alcester, Mrs. Jake Dutcher of New Castle, Neb., Fred, Alphonse, Pete, George, Clark, Osizs, Amedia and Lena, all of this township. She also leaves to mourn her loss five brothers, Peter Barry of Missoula, Mont., Frank and Joe Barry of Elk Point, Nelson Barry of Kalispell, Mont., and Daniel of Denver, Colorado; also two sisters, Mrs. LaChapelle of Civil Bend township and Mrs. George Guillaume of Sioux City."
