Read More	Emery LeRoy Taylor, 80, of Minden, died Monday, October 28,1996, at his home near Minden. Emery was born on July 4, 1916, in Minden to Roy and Bertha (Wirth) Taylor. He grew up in the Minden area. He was a veteran of World War II, seving in the Pacific Theater. He returned to Minden and farmed south of town. He was a member of the Westminster United Presbyterian Church in Minden. Survivors include brothers, Wayne Taylor of Eugene Ore., and Willis Taylor of Minden; sisters, Agnes Linder of Omaha and Eleanor Trine of Minden; and many nieces; nephews; and friends. He was preceded in death by brother, Harold Taylor; sister, Esther Kennedy, and one infant sister. Funeral services were Nov. 1, at Westminster United Prebyterian Church in Minden with Dr. Terry Palmer officiating. Arden Talbert was the soloist and Glen Haselbarth provided the organ music. Casket bearers included Larry Kennedy, Don Vogt, Larry Taylor,William Jorgensen, Jr., LeRoy Hansen and Marvin Nielsen. Burial was in the Minden Cemetery with military rites provided by Minden American Legion Post 94.
