Description	:	Local Woman Dies at 71 Mrs. Emilia O. Cangas, 71, 1432 35th street died Wednesday evening at Sacred Heart hospital. She had been ill two months. She was born May 30, 1888 in Mexico; she was married there to Leonardo Cangas, who survives. She had resided in Fort Madison for about 40 years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic church. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and one son. Funeral services for Mrs. Cangas will be held Friday at 9 a.m. in Sacred Heart Catholic church. The Rev. John Martin will officiate. Burial will be in Sacred Heart cemetery. The body is at Nieters' Chapel where the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Thursday.
