Description	:	Emilie Weymouth Moderow (as printed in the Polk Progress 9-4-1959) Emilie Marie Weymouth was born to Henry and Katherine Weymouth on February 16, 1899 at Cole Camp, Missouri. She departed this life on August 30, 1958 at the age of 59 years, 6 months and 14 days. She was baptized at the Trinity Lutheran church at Cole Camp and was confirmed into the church there on March 21, 1912. She was joined in marriage there to Irvin Paul Moderow. She departed this life on August 30, 1958 at the age of 59 years, 6 months and 14 days. She was baptized at the Trinity Lutheran church at Cole Camp and was confirmed into the church there on March 21, 1912. She was joined in marriage there to Irvin Paul Moderow. To this union seven sons were born. Preceding Mrs. Moderow in death were her husband on August 24, 1956 and two sons Eugene and Hillard. Surviving are five sons, Leroy of Adison, Ill., Melbourne, Roger and Willis, all of Marquette, and Kenneth of Grand Island. Also surviving are four sisters, two brothers, five daughters-in-law and 9 grandchildren. An encouraging and faithful helpmeet to her husband, the Moderows resided near Polk where Mr. Moderow was the teacher at the Immanuel Lutheran parochial school from 1921 to 1939. Since 1947 they resided at Marquette where Mrs. Moderow assisted her husband in a business venture until his passing. Funeral services were held on Monday, Sept. 1 in the St. Paul’s Lutheran church at Central City with Pastor Schroeder officiating. Pallbearers were L.E. Blase, Erwin Light, Alvin Smith, Ewald Klingsporn, Ed Klingsporn and Emil WIlshusen. Interment was in the Immanuel cemetery near Polk.
