Description	:	From a 1907 Nance County, Nebraska, newspaper clipping file, transcribed by Linda Berney: Emma Elizabeth Bowman Lenker was born in Linglestown, Dauphin County, Pa., on the 20th day of April, 1857 and fell asleep on Monday noon, August 26th, 1907 at her late home in Fullerton; aged 50 years, 4 months and 6 days. Read More	From a 1907 Nance County, Nebraska, newspaper clipping file, transcribed by Linda Berney: Emma Elizabeth Bowman Lenker was born in Linglestown, Dauphin County, Pa., on the 20th day of April, 1857 and fell asleep on Monday noon, August 26th, 1907 at her late home in Fullerton; aged 50 years, 4 months and 6 days. Of her father's family but one survives, a sister in Pennsylvania. The deceased was united in marriage to Mr. Theodore W. Lenker in Rockville, Chester county, Pa., on the 7th day of February, 1878 and came to this county in 1882 and lived on a farm 10 miles from Fullerton. While on the farm, Mr. Lenker was chosen by the citizens of Nance county to serve as County treasurer, which he held two terms, and was an incumbent of that office when he died about ten years ago. There were born to Mr. and Mrs. Lenker, four children, three daughters and one son, all present: Mrs. Dora M. Titterington of this county, Mrs. LaVantia Currier of Garrisson, N. D., Miss Emma Edna Lenker and Clement Theodore Lenker at home. Mrs. Lenker's last illness extended through more than a year. Three times she visited the hospital at Omaha with the hope of relief. About one month ago she returned home to suffer without hope of recovery. During these last weeks the youngest daughter remained much of the time alone with her mother, by day and by night she was administered in love to the dearest friend on earth. As she neared the close of life, the children all returned to the home and lovingly soothed her in the long hours of intense suffering, which she heroicly bore....
