Description	:	(KS) Belleville Telescope Feb. 13, 1930 Emma Elizabeth Sellars was born near Stanton, Virginia, February 3, 1859, to St. Clair and Catherine Dovel. When but a girl she moved to Nemaha county, Nebraska, near Auburn, and then in 1883 together with her parents she came to Republic county, Kansas, where she lived until her death. In February, 1884, she was united in the bonds of Holy Matrimony with N. T. Sellars, and in 1900, a son Elmer, was born. When but a girl she moved to Nemaha county, Nebraska, near Auburn, and then in 1883 together with her parents she came to Republic county, Kansas, where she lived until her death. In February, 1884, she was united in the bonds of Holy Matrimony with N. T. Sellars, and in 1900, a son Elmer, was born. During the year of 1911 her father died, to be followed on December 6, 1915 by her mother. Besides the husband and son, there is one brother, Wm. P. Dovel and two sisters, Rebecca Renneau, and Mary Winterhalter, and a host of other relatives and friends who mourn the loss of this loved one. She was a member of the Eastern Star Lodge, and those who knew her intimately say that she made preparation for her departure to her Maker, as would a child returning to the home of her Father. She departed this life at the age of 71 years, 1 day, at her home near Munden. Services were held in the Munden church by Rev. E. D. Steward assisted by Rev. Strong and interment made in the Ida cemetery.
