Description	:	(KS) Belleville Telescope June 13, 1935 William Preston Dovel was born in Page county, Virginia, on March 12, 1854, and died at his home in Munden, June 5, 1935, at the age of 81 years, 2 months and 23 days. In 1877 he moved to Nemaha county, Nebraska, then came to Republic county in 1883. On June 29, 1898, he was married to Miss Fannie Hall at Blain, Kan., coming to Munden where on the farm they began their life together. Here their two children were born, and they resided until 1918, when they moved into Munden. He is survived by the wife... In 1877 he moved to Nemaha county, Nebraska, then came to Republic county in 1883. On June 29, 1898, he was married to Miss Fannie Hall at Blain, Kan., coming to Munden where on the farm they began their life together. Here their two children were born, and they resided until 1918, when they moved into Munden. He is survived by the wife and companion, one son, Rodney, a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Dejmal, both of Munden; three grandchildren, Cleta Dovel and Jimmy and Don Dejmal, and a host of friends. Jimmy was born on his grandfather's 72nd birthday. He is the last of his generation, except a sister, Mrs. Rebecca Rennall, whose residence is not known. Although handicapped by being deaf from childhood, he was industrious and possessed a cheerful disposition. He received his education at Stanley, Va., When 28 years of age he was baptized and united with the Baptist church at Auburn, Neb., and lived a sincere life of helpfulness, Though suffering for son time he was patient and always happy to meet his friends. He will be greatly missed from the community. Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the M. E. church by the Rev. Mr. Steward of near Belleville, assisted by the Rev. F. L. Courtier. Burial was made in the Ida cemetery.
